What is Plagiarism and How Can You Avoid Committing It?

Plagiarism essentially involves using someone else's writing as if it were your own. It is a serious type of academic dishonesty that may result in loss of credit on an assignment, loss of credit for a course, or even disciplinary action at the university level.

You need to know what plagiarism is and how NOT to commit it, either intentionally or accidentally. Download Bedford/St.Martin's "Straight Talk About Plagiarism."
