| Chung Eye Care, P.A. |
|---|
Nothing is quite as exciting as graduating from college, unless of course it is purchasing a business so you can hang out your shingle and be in business for yourself. When Dr. Katie Chung, and her husband, soon-to-be Dr. Anh Chung met with Vonelle Vanzant, neither was fully aware of the sometimes bumpy, often frustrating, but always exciting road they would take from business plan to loan closing and beyond. By working with Simmons First National Bank in Fort Smith and the UA Fort Smith Small Business Development Center, Dr. Katie and Anh were able to secure a Small Business Administration loan to purchase Amerine Eye Clinic with locations in Paris, Charleston and Ozark, AR. Both Dr. Katie and Anh have family in the area, so purchasing a practice in the area, one they can both work in when Anh graduates next June, is really the stuff dreams are made of.

As a competitive bicycle racing enthusiast with a strong commitment to quality and service, Scott Chapman knew he had the experience, desire and commitment to operate the best bicycle sales and repair shop in Western Arkansas. He had been racing, building and repairing bikes since he was a teenager and working in or managing bicycle shops for most of his adult life.
Scott knew that he had what it took. Working with Benefit Bank in Fort Smith and the UA Fort Smith Small Business Development Center, Scott secured a U.S. Small Business Administration start-up loan. His store is located at 8434 Phoenix, Suite D, Fort Smith, AR. He would love to talk with you about your cycling needs.
