Blood Drive Scheduled for April 6 and 7

The Student Activities Office at the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith is sponsoring a blood drive from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 6 and 7 in the Reynolds Room of the Smith-Pendergraft Campus Center.

The drive, presented by United Blood Services, is open to UA Fort Smith faculty, staff and students, as well as the general public. All blood types are needed.

Each donor will receive a free t-shirt, said Stephanie London, student activities event coordinator, along with snacks and drinks. Door prizes will also be awarded throughout the day.

Potential donors can sign up March 29-April 2 in the Campus Center hallway near the Lions Bookstore, online at www.bloodhero.org or by calling London at 479-788-7697. Walk-ins are welcome.
