Westark College has announced several recent scholarship awards.
Chris Boyd of Fort Smith has received a National Science Foundation Scholarship at Westark College. He is married to Marsha Boyd, is a 1980 graduate of Fort Gibson High School in Fort Gibson, Okla., and is the son of Kenneth and Jenean Boyd of Tahlequah, Okla.
James Ryan Emery of Huntington has been awarded a Fort Smith Antique Automobile Clubs Scholarship at Westark College. He is the son of Randy and Lou Emery of Huntington and is a 2001 graduate of Mansfield High School.
Becky L. Gramlich of Van Buren has received an Adult Learner Scholarship at Westark College. She is married to Mark Gramlich, is a 1980 graduate of Van Buren High School, and is the daughter of Freddie and Brenda Stephenson of Van Buren.
Timothy Andrew Hearn of Fort Smith has been awarded an instrumental music scholarship at Westark College. He is the son of Tim and Julie Hearn and is a 2000 graduate of Southside High School.
Spencer W. Hindmarsh of Fort Smith has received an Academic Honors Scholarship at Westark College. He is the son of David and Anita Hindmarsh and is a 2001 graduate of Southside High School.
Christina Lynette Huff of Fort Smith has been awarded an Adult Learner Scholarship at Westark College. She is married to Michael Harold Huff, is a 1999 graduate of Thomas Edison High School in Tulsa, Okla., and is the granddaughter of Peggy Honea of DeQueen.
Michael Harold Huff of Fort Smith has received an Adult Learner Scholarship at Westark College. He is married to Christina Lynette Huff, is a 1996 graduate of Midway Christian Academy, and is the son of Mike and Janie Huff of Mena.
Jeff Kennon of Fort Smith has been awarded an Academic Honors Scholarship at Westark College. He is the son of Becky Hoopengarner of Hartford and is a 2001 graduate of Hartford High School.
Karla Nanette Leonard of Barling has received a Boreham-Sparks Nursing Scholarship and a George E. Miller Scholarship at Westark College. She is the daughter of Jim and Virginia Pruett of Batesville and is a 1988 graduate of Batesville High School.
Maranda J. Lindsey of Clarksville has been awarded a Lilian H. Aston Nursing Scholarship at Westark College. She is the daughter of Freddie Lindsey of Clarksville and Beverly Whitaker of Mocksville, N.C., and is a 1994 graduate of Clarksville High School.
Serena C. McBride of Hackett has received a Fort Smith Dental Association Scholarship at Westark College. She is married to Clint McBride, is the daughter of Elaine Rice of Fort Smith and Frank Brown of Leslie, Ark., and is a 1996 graduate of Fort Smith Christian School.
Kristin Leigh Meeks of Fort Smith has been awarded a Fort Smith Dental Association Scholarship at Westark College. She is the daughter of Peggy Meeks and David Meeks, both of Fort Smith, and is a 1998 graduate of Southside High School.
Jimmy Neal Pepper of Fort Smith has received an Adult Learner Scholarship at Westark College. He is married to Courtney Pepper, is the son of Charlotte Thompson and the late Jim Pepper, and is a 1990 graduate of Northside High School.
Lauren Suzanne Putnam of Fort Smith has been awarded an Academic Honors Scholarship at Westark College. She is the daughter of Debbie Putnam of Fort Smith and Scott and Sue Putnam of St. Peters, Mo., and is 2001 graduate of Southside High School.
Esperanza Sanchez of Fort Smith has received an Adult Learner Scholarship at Westark College. She is the daughter of Fransico Sanchez of Tulsa and Beatrice Delgadillo of Houston, Texas, and is a 1983 graduate of Central High School in Tulsa.
Trisha Dawn Wiseman Smith of Fort Smith has been awarded a Boreham-Sparks Nursing Scholarship at Westark College. She is married to Josh Smith and is a 1998 graduate of Greenwood High School. She is the daughter of Teresa and Kelly Sumrall of Greenwood and Gaylon and Tammy Wiseman of Huntington.
Andrew D. Spradley of Howe, Okla., has received an Academic Honors Scholarship at Westark College. He is the son of Larry and P.J. Spradley and is a 2001 graduate of Poteau High School.
Janice Lynn Vincent of Alma has been awarded an Adult Learner Scholarship at Westark College. She is the daughter of A.C. and Betty Vincent and is a 1988 graduate of Mountainburg High School.
Allison Leann Wiginton of Fort Smith has received an Academic Honors Scholarship at Westark College. She is the daughter of Michael and Pam Wiginton and is a 2001 graduate of Southside High School.
Carrie L. Wofford of Fort Smith has been awarded an academic scholarship at Westark College. She is the daughter of Charles and Debbie Wofford.
