Center for Business and Professional Development

The Center for Business and Professional Development (CBPD) offers customized training, consulting and open enrollment professional development opportunities to companies to increase their effectiveness and productivity by developing the skills and performance of their employees. We provide training when and where needed for employees at all levels in an organization and are committed to providing employee development that is cost-effective, relevant and applicable to current work related issues.

Business Courses Online (Ed2Go)

Learn how to plan, finance, and grow your existing small business. Master the fundamentals of supervision and management. Gain priceless experience in customer service, project management, human resources, business analysis, logistics, manufacturing, supply chain management, purchasing, and more.

Ed2Go offers 6-week online courses in the categories of Leadership and Management, Communications, Starting Your Own Business, Learn How to Buy and Sale on ebay, Sales and Marketing, and more. Students enrolling in an Ed2Go class are allowed access to the online classroom 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with lessons released twice each week. There are brief quizzes at the end of each lesson, and a final exam at the end of the course. A completion certificate is available for printing once the final exam has been completed. Leadership Fort Smith

Leadership Fort Smith (LFS) is an issues-oriented program designed for leaders who want to make a difference in the region. LFS broadens selected participants’ perspectives, examines community issues, expands opportunities to develop friendships from all segments of the region and strengthens leadership skills. Each year LFS selects a class of 25 individuals who are selected on the basis of demonstrated leadership ability as well as evidence of community interest and commitment. Occupational Spanish

The occupational Spanish courses include opportunities to practice conversational skills in practical contexts, as well as covering essential vocabulary and cultural issues to consider.
