Online Catalog

What is the online catalog?

The online catalog is an index to all of the books and media owned by the Boreham Library as well as selected web sites and journal holdings. You can search the online catalog by author, title, keyword, and subject to locate materials.

You may search our online catalog from any of the computer workstations in the library. Additionally, you may search the catalog from home or from any computer with Internet access.

Some of the information that the catalog provides for each item includes the following:

  • Author
  • Title
  • Publisher
  • Year of Publication
  • Contents notes and special features (maps)
  • Library of Congress Subject Headings
  • Dewey call number
  • Location of the item within the library
  • Availability status (on the shelves or checked out)
