Each department of the
College of Languages and Communication offers a variety of courses designed to satisfy student needs. In fact, most courses taken during the first two years are taught by the College faculty, regardless of students’ majors. All courses offered in the College reinforce proficiencies in the University’s general education competencies.
The
College of Languages and Communication works closely with the other colleges to support students whose majors are in other colleges on campus. However, there are also numerous degree programs offered within the College of Languages and Communication. In addition, secondary education majors earn degrees in their disciplines from the College of Languages and Communication while taking 31 credit hours of professional secondary education in the
