Group and Class Presentations

The guided study staff is available to speak in-depth on various study skills subjects in your classroom. Subjects include note-taking, test taking, test preparation, listening, goal setting, and time management. Feel free to stop by Vines 101 and visit with the guided study specialist or make an appointment with the staff for individual help in these areas.

The guided study staff can also give a group Learning Styles Assessment and explain how it is evaluated. Afterward, suggestions are given about how each learner can use different tools and methods to accommodate his/her learning style.

Also, an explanation of the Study Behavior Inventory can be given to classes or individuals to help them identify potential problem areas with their study skills.
