The Gordon Kelley Learning Assistance Center's goal is to help students become
independent and efficient learners so they are better equipped to meet the University's academic standards and successfully attain their own educational goals. Students are challenged to become actively involved in their own learning. The purpose of the Learning Assistance Center (LAC) is to provide all students with an equal opportunity to succeed in college by maintaining a program of support services to address their educational needs. The LAC staff considers not only the student's academic background, preparation, and study habits, but also the specific challenges of the course content and the student's overall college experience.
