Veterans Ch 1606

Chapter 1606

Service members who are currently serving in the Selected Reserve. Benefits cease upon discharge. Documentation required for applying includes a NOBE (Notice of Basic Eligibility), Kicker (not every member will be eligible for this benefit), copies of your DD-214 form, and a bank deposit slip or voided check.

Other notes on Chapter 1606:

  • Ch 1606 must verify enrollment monthly beginning on the last day of the month. This can be done by either calling 1-877-823-2378, or through the VA WAVE Website and logging in to WAVE.
