VA Academic Policy

Each student receiving VA benefits posting less than a 2.0 GPA will be placed on probation. Affected students will be allowed to receive benefits, but will be monitored closely by the VA certifying official. While on probation, students whose GPA falls below 2.0 for two consecutive semesters will have their benefits suspended.

Students who are on VA suspension will be required to successfully complete a semester (minimum of 6 credit hours) while achieving a term GPA of 2.0 or higher. If the required minimum GPA is achieved, students will be allowed to receive their VA benefits again, but on a probationary basis until a cumulative GPA of 2.0 is attained. If the students' GPA once again falls below the 2.0 minimum, the benefits will be suspended again.
