Disbursement Method

The amount of financial aid and scholarships for which the student is eligible will be credited to the student's account. If the amount of aid awarded exceeds the total charges that the student has authorized for payment, the student will receive any amount that is refundable. All financial aid refund checks will be mailed to the student. If the aid is less than the charges, the student will be billed for the difference.

A late charge of $75 each semester will be assessed to any student's account for unpaid tuition. To avoid this charge, make payment arrangements with the Cashier's Office or pay charges in full by the payment deadline.

If the aid package is for a full-time student in the nine-month academic year, one-half will be awarded for the fall semester and one-half for the spring semester. If the student has eligibility for the summer terms, portions are awarded at the beginning of each term.
