Program Overview

Preparing future teachers to make a significant difference in the lives of students in schools throughout this region is a top priority of UA Fort Smith's College of Education. The College has earned accolades in the education community with its innovative policies and a conceptual framework that clearly integrates the College's mission with instruction. Education faculty has an impressive record of academic excellence and together has over 500 years of K-12 public school experience. The College of Education continues to build quality degree programs in response to areas of need, with several new programs under development.
