Program Overview

The UA Fort Smith College of Education is committed to excellence in teacher preparation through both classroom instruction and extensive field experiences, and UA Fort Smith provides a guarantee to school districts that its graduates will be successful. Career Opportunities

History majors often go on to careers in government service, law, publishing, or communications. Others choose teaching, graduate school, as well as employment at museums or archives.
