BSN - Nursing RN - BSN Online Completion Program

The RN-BSN online completion program, designed for the registered nurse, facilitates educational mobility, personal growth, and lifelong learning, providing a foundation for graduate study.

The National League of Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) serves as the accrediting agency for the RN-BSN online completion program. On an annual basis, the School of Nursing provides the NLNAC with information regarding tuition, fees, and the length of the program. For upper-level NURS courses and HLTH 4103, students must be accepted into the RN-BSN online completion program, or have approval of the program director.

1: General Education Core Requirements, 2007-2008 catalog: Follow requirements with these stipulations: composition- select option ENGL 1203/1213 or ENGL 1203/1223; mathematics: MATH 1403 or mathematics with MATH 1403 as a prerequisite and MATH 2503; science- must take BIOL 1524 and select one from CHEM 1304, PHSC 2754, GEOL 1254, PHSC 2654, or PHYS 2803/2811 or higher; social sciences- must take PSYC 2963 and select three from PSYC 1163 (prerequisite to PSYC 2963), ANTH 2803, ECON 2803 or 2813, GEOG 2753, HIST 1123 or 1133, HIST 2753 or 2763, POLS 2753 or SOCI 2753.
2: Support Program Requirements, 8 hours: Must take BIOL 1534 and BIOL 1464.

Courses with a D grade will not transfer unless an appeal for exception is submitted in writing to the provost prior to the first day of class.
