NOTES
1: General Education Core Requirements, 2007-2008 catalog- Follow requirements with these stipulations: composition- must take second sequence with ENGL 1223; science- BIOL 1154 is required and select one from GEOL 1254, PHSC 2654, or PHSC 2754; fine arts- may not select MUSI 2763; Humanities- select ENGL 2783 or 2793; history/government- POLS 2753 is required; social sciences- ANTH 2803 and SOCI 2753 are required.
2: Historical Interpretation Requirement, 27 hours: Introductory HIST courses- HIST 2753, 2763, 1123, and 1133 are required; History of Europe- select either HIST 3103, 3053, or 3203; History of the United States- select two courses from HIST 3413, 3423, 3433, 3443, 3453, 3463, 3473, 4113, or 4153; Global and Cultural Awareness- ANTH 3103 is required and select one HIST course from 3503, 4123, 4133, or 4213.
3: HIST 4533 Interpretation Travel Seminar requires travel to a variety of historic sites.
The department requires all history courses counted toward fulfillment of the degree requirements to be passed with a C or better.
Transfer Course Information

The Arkansas Course Transfer System (ACTS) contains information about the transferability of courses within Arkansas public colleges and universities. Students are guaranteed the transfer of applicable credits and the equitable treatment of the application of credits for the admissions and degree requirements. Courses transferability is not guaranteed for courses listed in ACTS as "No Comparable Courses." Courses with a D grade will not transfer unless an appeal for exception is submitted in writing to the provost prior to the first day of class.
