NOTES
1: General Education Core Requirements, 2007-2008 catalog- Follow requirements with the following stipulations: History/Government-POLS 2753 is required; Social Sciences-select two courses from ANTH 2803, ECON 2803 or ECON 2813, GEOG 2753, PSYC 1163, or SOCI 2753.
2: History Requirements, 24 hours: Civilization series- select one sequence HIST 1123/1133; Global and Cultural Awareness (at least three hours must be upper level)-select two HIST courses from 1273, 1283, 3503, 4123, 4133, 4203, or 4213;History of Europe-select HIST 3053, 3103, or 3203; History of the United States- select three HIST courses from 3413, 3423, 3433, 3443, 3453, 3463, 3473, 4113, or 4153; One additional three hour upper-level HIST elective is required, consult with faculty advisor.
3: Additional Degree Requirements, 36 hours-Consult with faculty advisor. May have 18 hours from two other areas or 18 hours from one area plus electives. Select courses to ensure completion of 45 upper level hours for graduation.
The department requires all history courses counted toward fulfillment of the degree requirements to be passed with a C or better.
Transfer Course Information

The Arkansas Course Transfer System (ACTS) contains information about the transferability of courses within Arkansas public colleges and universities. Students are guaranteed the transfer of applicable credits and the equitable treatment of the application of credits for the admissions and degree requirements. Courses transferability is not guaranteed for courses listed in ACTS as "No Comparable Courses." Courses with a D grade will not transfer unless an appeal for exception is submitted in writing to the provost prior to the first day of class.
