Program Overview

Students learn basic and advanced skills in ARC, MIG, and TIG welding. Theories and practical application of fabrication and layout are also covered. The courses assist in developing skills needed for structural and high-pressure vessel welding and include technical skill proficiencies standardized by the American Welding Society. Enroll in a single class for certification or earn an associate of applied science degree. Courses taken for certification may be applied toward the associate’s degree and credit for courses may be earned through testing and demonstrated proficiency. Courses are available periodically in both day and evening classes.
