Justin Stuckey enters his first year at UA-Fort Smith, bringing a wealth of experience and success at all levels. The former University of Arkansas – Little Rock Trojan also brings a high-energy level and tireless work ethic to the Lions of Fort Smith.

Stuckey was an administrative assistant coach for the NBDL’s Arkansas RimRockers for one year, where his duties included helping with the guards and on-court instruction. He also coached the 11-12 year old division of the Arkansas Hawks AAU team, leading the Hawks to a top 5 finish in the nation in 2004. Prior to joining the staff at UA Fort Smith, Stuckey coached at Eastfield College in Dallas, Texas.

As a prep player, Stuckey was an Arkansas all-state performer in basketball and football. He led his high school football team to a runner-up finish in 1998. In his senior year, Stuckey led his basketball team to a school-best 31-2 record, finishing as the runner-up in the state championship game against current Atlanta Hawk, and former Arkansas Razorback Joe Johnson. Stuckey led his team in both scoring and steals as a senior.

Stuckey signed a letter of intent to play collegiate basketball at the University of Louisiana-Lafayette. After one year, he transferred to Bossier Parish Community College where he led the Cavaliers in scoring, rebounding, assists, and steals, and was selected all-region. Stuckey finished his career at the University of Arkansas-Little Rock, where he was voted the team’s best defender. Stuckey was also part of the Trojan team who won the 2004 Sun Belt Conference. He received a Bachelor's of Health Sciences from UALR
