UA Fort Smith's ACT Center provides computer-based training services to individuals and businesses primarily linked to developing
workforce and professional skills. As a partnership between UA Fort Smith and ACT, Inc., the ACT Center contains a virtual
library of over one thousand computer-based courses. The content of the ACT courseware is found in the following workforce and
professional development categories:
- Adult Literacy
- Computer Basics
- Industrial Tech/Safety Skills
- Information Tech
- Management/Leadership
- Personal Development
Training can be obtained on-campus or at any location with Internet access. The value of computer-based training is found in the
large variety of courses available to choose from and the ability to schedule training on-campus, at home, or in your office at a
time most convenient for you.
