With the assistance of an advisor, students can design a career action plan that guides them into the profession they choose. A plan that includes: goal setting, problem solving, and long term course planning. Resources in the Career Center include: Internet access, computerized databases, videotapes, books, and career files. Additional occupational information is available from the Boreham Library
online resources. You may consider job shadowing and/or interviewing a professional in your field of interest. You may also work with the
Career Services staff for assistance on: resume writing, interview techniques, and job placement.
