Career Portfolio ACT's World-of-Work Map organizes occupations into six clusters, parallel to Holland's Hexagon, to help users focus on preparing for career options that fit them best. In order to use DISCOVER, you will need a User ID (token) which allows you to access the software using the internet. You can come by Student Advisement & Career Planning located on the 2nd floor of the Smith-Pendergraft Campus Center, open 8 AM – 6 PM Monday – Thursday and 9 AM – 5 PM on Friday, to pick up a token. You may also email advise@uafortsmith.edu from your LionsLink account to request a token. You will be able to use the DISCOVER website any where you have internet access. Once you have your token, visit the DISCOVER website. An academic advisor in Student Advisement & Career Planning will assist you with understanding the results of your assessment during Individual Career Planning.
