It's Showtime!
Celebrate the Magic of Theatre

The UA Fort Smith Academy of the Arts in partnership with Young Actors Guild is pleased to present the 2007 - 2008 Showtime Season of six theatre productions. As we begin this new partnership, and to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Young Actors Guild, we are offering season tickets for a special price.

Students participating in the Academy theatre program will present four major productions this season. These include the reprisal of High School Musical, Best Christmas Pageant Ever, Cinderella the play, and Charlotte's Web. In addition, the YAG Players will present two smaller productions which are the musical version of Disney's Cinderella, and the Disney Kids 101 Dalmatians.

The Academy is pleased to present three directors of national reputation who will direct these shows. Missy Gipson will direct the reprise of High School Musical, Kate Frank will direct Best Christmas Pageant Ever and Charlotte's Web, and Nancy Mathis will direct the YAG Players production of Cinderella and 101 Dalmatians. Also, we are excited to host the Missoula Children's Theatre as they produce the play version of Cinderella.

Ticket Information

Tickets for High School Musical are $15. Tickets for all other shows are $10 each, or you may purchase the complete season for $50. Tickets may be purchased beginning August 23. To order tickets, please call the Showtime Series Box Office at (479) 788-7300. You may also purchase tickets online through our website at www.uafortsmith.edu. A credit card is needed for online ticket purchases. Tickets will also be available at the door.
