The Academy is pleased to begin Musikgarten, a nationally recognized curriculum of music and movement for babies - second grade. Taught by a nationally certified instructor, your child will be guided through a sequence of child-centered musical activities that result in true music literacy. This delightful program is truly the best and most cost-effective program for preschoolers.

Classes
January 21 - April 17, 2010

Pajama Class Families with children Ages: Birth to 4 years	Thursday 6:00-6:45 pm	$165
Family Music Age: 6 months-2 years, Caregiver attends	Friday 10:00-10:45 am	$165
Cycle of Seasons Age: 3-4 years, Caregiver attends	Friday 10:45-11:30 am	$165
Family Music Age: 6 months-2 years, Caregiver attends	Saturday 10:00-10:45 am	$165
Cycle of Seasons Age: 3-4 years, Caregiver attends	Saturday 10:45-11:30 am	$165
Music Makers at Home Age: 5-6 years	Saturday 11:30-12:15 am	$165

Thursday classes are in Echols Building Room 115 and all other classes are in the Echols Conference Center. Please note that class size is limited to 10 students per class, so register early.

Materials

The materials fee ranges from $30-$55 with each curriculum. Your instructor will outline the fees in the Musikgarten handbook and they will be payable to the instructor, not the Academy of the Arts.

Payment Information

Payment arrangements may be made if registered for the full semester (12 weeks) only. You may pay in 2 equal payments, with the first payment due on or before the first day of class, and the second payment due on or before October 26, 2009. Multi-student families will receive a $10 discount for the second and each additional student within the family. Employees of the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith will receive a $25 discount per child.
