Master Classes

Master Classes

Rockefeller String Quartet Each year the Academy offers Master Classes for students enrolled in private lessons. Students are selected by their instructor to present music for the guest artist in an informal performance setting. The student will then receive a master lesson from the artist. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to meet and learn from nationally acclaimed artists. Master Classes are free to the student and to the public. We encourage everyone to attend.

This season the Academy will present four master classes. The following is a schedule of Guest Artists and Class dates.

John Kasica - Percussion and
Paula Kasica - Flute 		September 11 & 12
Edward White - Baritone and
Katherine White - Soprano 		November 17 & 18
Kevin Gebo - Trumpet and
Alexandra Zacharella - Trombone 		February 12 & 13
Rosilee Walker - Piano and
Linda Fischer - Violin 		April 7 & 8

All Master Classes will be held in the Breedlove Building. Exact times and room locations TBA.
