David Fountain

Mr. Fountain received his Bachelor of Music and Master of Music in Piano Performance from the University of Tulsa studying under the artist-in-residence, Aldo Mancinelli.

He teaches private piano and beginning class piano at the Northwest Arkansas Community College in Bentonville. Mr. Fountain also teaches private students at the Shepherd School of Music in Rogers and more recently at the Academy of the Arts, U of A, Fort Smith. He is also Director of Music at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Rogers, where he is organist, choir director and bell choir director.

Mr. Fountin has been Dean of the Northwest Arkansas Chapter of the American Guild of Organists for the past two years and previously its Sub-Dean. He ias also a member of the Northwest Arkansas Music Teachers Association having served as Vice-President.

He has performed as soloist and also as accompanist for vocal and instrumental concerts. Mr. Fountain was accompanist for area musical productions including "Mame", "Annie","Seven Brides for Seven Brothers", "The Fantastics", "Peter Pan" and others. He has also accompanied Benton County Civic Orchestra and Chorus, opera workshops and NWACC Chamber Singers.

Mr. Fountain has also been involved in recruiting many visiting musical artists as well as organizing and promoting their performances in the Bentonville and Rogers area.
