Connect with the Academy Children's Choir!

This select group is by audition and open to grades 3 - 8. The students have multiple opportunities to perform each semester including an end of semester concert and special community performances. The Choir also has the opportunity periodically to work with guest conductors and clinicians of national reputation.

The Children's Choir, directed by Gaye McClure, performs music ranging from pop to jazz to classical to sacred. What a great way to get involved in music and meet kids from all over the area! Choir rehearses every Monday from 4 - 5:30 p.m. in the Echols Conference Center.

Show Choir

If you like to sing and dance, this is the group for you! This high energy ensemble, led by Dru Baker, tours each semester to area schools and performs on the end-of-semester Children's Choir Concert. You must register for Children's Choir to participate in Show Choir. The group rehearses Monday from 6 - 7:30 p.m. in the Echols Conference Center. The Academy Summer Camp Explosion will include Show Choir activities. The camp will be held the week of July 28 - August 2 with Show Choir performances on Saturday, August 2 at the Xtreme Arts KidFest. Registration will be available soon.

Please note that the ages for choir are suggested ages only. We accept students of all ages.
